Tracfone Promotional Bonus Codes

All Bonus Codes are "use at your own risk."  That being said, the Bonus Codes with expiration dates that have NOT passed yet can most likely be verified and/or redeemed over the phone with TracFone Customer Support 1-800-867-7183 (i.e, in case you have a problem using them online or on your phone).  Although many of these Bonus Codes include expiration dates that have passed, they may still work (which is why they are included in the List).    The Bonus Codes with notes indicating "active as of..." shows the last date the codes were reported to have been used successfully.  Bonus Codes have to be used with airtime cards and only one Bonus Code can be used per airtime card.  Although airtime cards and Bonus Codes can be entered directly into your TracFone phone, it is best to enter them on the Tracfone website.  This is because if you enter it into your phone, if the Bonus Code is NO LONGER valid, your airtime card pin and Bonus Code will go through but you will receive nothing for your Bonus Code.  When entering your airtime card pin and Bonus Code online, if you enter an invalid or expired Bonus Code you will receive an error message at the top of the next page.  If you try two invalid or expired Bonus Codes and receive that error message each time, the third time you try entering a Bonus Code the transaction will go through but you may not receive ANY bonus for your Bonus Code.  Therefore, in order to receive another two chances to enter Bonus Codes, you will need to clear your web browser's cache and cookies before trying another two times.  That way you can keep trying different Bonus Codes until you find one that works.  Rumor has it that codes can only be used once each per phone, but some people have claimed to have used codes more than once.  Good luck!

300-minute "GLITCH"!

This is HOT and I've done it a bunch of times...

When activating or upgrading to a NEW phone:

Follow the instructions below to "test" Bonus Code 55118 (which is for 300 bonus minutes on a 400min/1yr card).  Then page back with your browser's "back" button to TracFone's main page and activate a new phone or transfer/upgrade to a new phone. Don't add any minutes during this procedure.  Once your phone activates, you'll have 320 minutes instead of the 20 you would normally get. This works on both GSM and CDMA phones.

Now, I've done this about a dozen times and a couple of times it did NOT work.  I can't attest to why.  If you plan on doing this to more than one phone in one sitting, here are some tips to hopefully increase the odds that this will work for you - I can't promise anything though.  So go out and buy a bunch of those cheapy C139s for $8-$15 and use each of them for their "glitch" minutes!  (Do it soon! Who knows when this procedure will cease to work!)

1. Follow the entire instructions EACH time and use the same serial # each time.

2. Instead of activating each phone separately with different phone numbers, just transfer each phone and number to the next phone (unless having all the phones active will benefit you - maybe giving them as gifts?).  Would you rather have 10 active phones, each with 320mins/60days) for which you'll need to call TracFone Customer Support to transfer the days/mins from each?  That would take either multiple calls to CS, or one long call - and who wants to deal with their CS that much!?  Or would you rather have just one active phone at the end of the day with all the mins and days on it - about 3200mins/600days - and if you already use an active TracFone phone, you'll only have to make one phone call to TracFone CS to make just one phone-to-phone transfer of all the minutes and days to your regular TracFone phone.

TEST Bonus Codes!

You can TEST Bonus Codes to confirm if they are valid or not!
Go to TracFone's website and click to Buy Airtime.  Enter the serial number from an active TracFone phone and click Buy Airtime (don't worry, you don't need to buy anything to perform the test!).  Select an airtime card by placing a "1" in the Quantity column for any card (for 300min "glitch" below, select "1" of the 400min/1yr cards $99.99).  Enter the Bonus Code you are testing in the "Promotional Code box near the bottom then click the Buy Airtime button (again, you won't be charged for anything if you are just testing).  Now, one of two things will happen:  1. the error msg of "The Promotion Code you have entered is not valid..." will appear at the top of the page, which indicates that the Bonus Code is NOT valid, or 2. you will now be on "Step 2" of the purchase process asking you to review and confirm your order, which indicates that the Bonus Codes IS valid.  Make sure to clean your cache/cookies after each test or two - if you perform three tests without doing this, the third test will show that the Bonus Code is valid, even if it is NOT valid.
